Alexander Polyanovsky (d. April 24, 1687 , Warsaw ) is a Polish military and statesman, colonel of a hussar company, the captain the Great Crown (1678–1685) and the Great Coronet (1685–1687).

Biography
The representative of the Polish gentry clan Polyanovsky coat of arms " Pobog ". The military career of Alexander Polyanovsky began during the national liberation uprising of Bohdan Khmelnitsky in Ukraine .
In 1656, A. Polyanovsky participated in the Polish-Swedish war (1655-1660) , took part in the battles of Prostki and Filipow . In 1657-1659, under the command of Stefan Czarnecki, he participated in a military campaign against the Swedes in Pomerania and Denmark. On June 27, 1660, Alexander Polyanovsky commanded the right wing of the division of Stephen Charnetsky during the battle against the Russian army near Polonka .
Also A. Polyanovsky took an active part in hostilities in Ukraine. He participated in the battles of Lubar and Slobodisch in 1660 . In 1663 - 1664, he participated in the unsuccessful expedition of the Polish-Lithuanian army under the command of King Jan Casimir Waza to Left-Bank Ukraine. In 1665 - 1666, Alexander Polyanovsky commanded the troops of Jerzy Sebastian Lubomirsky in the battles of Czestochowa and Matwy .
After the end of the rokosh Jerzy Lubomirski, Alexander Polyanovsky joined the hetman of the great crown Yan Sobesky. In 1669, during free elections, he was one of the candidates for the royal throne of the Commonwealth. In 1667, A. Polyanovsky participated in the Podgai expedition , commanding the left wing of the Polish army. In 1671 - 1673 he fought the Turkish-Tatar troops, participated in the battle of Bratslav , the expedition of Jan Sobieski against the Tatar "Chambulas" and the battle of Khotyn .
In 1674, Alexander Polyanovsky was elected ambassador (deputy) from the Russian Voivodeship to the Sejm , where he supported the candidacy of Jan Sobieski to the Polish royal throne. In 1678, he received the post of stolnik the great crown.
In 1683, A. Polyanovsky commanded the hussar banners of King Jan III Sobieski . In August of the same 1683, he took part in the expedition of King Jan Sobieski to Vienna, but along the way he fell ill and was forced to return home. Soon after this A. Polyanovsky resigned from military service. In 1685, he was awarded the post of coronet great crown.
