Biography
Born in the family of a poor peasant in 1894 in the village. Kukleikha of the Kaluga province , graduated from a rural 4-year parish school. From the age of 12 he has been working at a weaving factory in Moscow . In 1912, for lack of work, he was dismissed. Staying unemployed for a long time, he finally entered the mineral fuel depot by the weigher where he worked until 1915 before being mobilized into the tsarist army.
After the establishment of Soviet power and the creation of the Red Army in July 1918, he voluntarily entered the Moscow flying Red Guard detachment. In a battle in the village of Orekhovka near Syzran, Kuzmin was captured
He was in prison in Syzran and Samara , in the "death train" was delivered to the Alexander Central. In May 1919, he joined the special forces detachment and, together with the soldiers of the company of Captain Mamaev, reached the villages of the Middle Angara area. After the killing of officers and the transfer of soldiers to a partisan detachment, he fought in the detachment of D. E. Zverev at Ilimsk, Ust-Kut and other places. [1] .
In December 1919, he became chairman of the Bratsk Volvrevkom, which, prior to the convening of the volost congress of Soviets, controlled the volost, in April 1920 Kuzmin joined the RCP (b) and was elected secretary of the party. In February 1921 he was elected secretary of the Brotherhood Volkom of the RCP (B.) , Where he worked until October 1923.
In October 1923, the Tulunsky Ucom of the RCP (b) from Bratsk, he responded and was appointed an instructor, and soon the head of the accounting department of the RCP (b) uk. In February 1927, Kuzmin was elected chairman of the district union of educators, at one time he was a member of the regional union of educators and participated in the All-Union Congress of educators in Moscow.
After the reorganization of the Tulun district, Kuzmin continues to work head. the organizational department of the Tulun district party committee, the chairman of the district committee of the union of clerks and the secretary of the state farm party committee. From Tulun I.V. Kuzmin was transferred to the Irkutsk rural district party committee as the head of the department.
Subsequently, before retiring in 1955 , he worked in many business positions. He died in Irkutsk on September 15, 1960 .
