As a result of the 2015 reform [1], the composition of the canton was substantially changed. Its members included the abolished cantons of Cagny-Barville , Fauville-en-Coe , Urville-en-Coe and Fontaine-le-Dan .
Since January 1, 2017, the composition of the canton has changed: the communes of Bento , Bermonville , Ozuvil-Oberbosk , Ricerville , Saint-Pierre-Lavis , Saint-Marguerite-sur-Fauville , Fauville-en-Co merged into the new commune of Terre de Co.

Policy
In the 2017 presidential election, canton residents cast 28.1% of the vote in the 1st round of Marin Le Pen versus 21.5% of Francois Fillon , 19.4% of Emmanuel Macron and 16.8% of Jean-Luc Melanson ; in the 2nd round, Macron won the canton, receiving 53.6% of the vote. (2012 1st round: Nicolas Sarkozy - 29.1%, Francois Hollande - 28.2%, Marine Le Pen - 19.2%; 2nd round: Hollande - 51.5%. 2007 1st round: Sarkozy - 30.1%, Segolen Royal - 25.3%; Round 2: Sarkozy - 50.3%).
Since 2015, the canton has been represented on the Council of the Seine-Maritime Department by the vice-mayor of the commune Fauville-en-Co Cécile Sineau-Patry ( Union of Democrats and Independents ) and the mayor of the commune of Malville-le-Gre Jean-Louis Chauvans (Jean- Louis Chauvensy) ( Miscellaneous Right ).
