Roger II Trancavel ( French: Roger II Trencavel , Roger II de Béziers ; 1149/1150 - March 19, 1194 ) - Viscount of Albi, Beziers and Carcassonne since 1167.

The son of Raymond I Trankavel and his wife Sora. Inherited father killed by the rebel inhabitants of Beziers. He besieged the city and stormed it with the help of the troops of Alphonse II of Aragon .
He recognized himself as a vassal of Aragon for Carcassonne and Razes, a vassal of the counts of Toulouse - for Bezier and Albi.
He made an alliance with the Count of Toulouse Raimund V , marrying his daughter Adelaide (1171), and marrying his sister to his son and heir.
Indulged the Cathars (as opposed to the father-in-law).
He died on March 19, 1194, was buried in the priory of Sainte-Marie de Cassan.
