“Novo Amburbo” ( port. Esporte Clube Novo Hamburgo ) is a Brazilian football club from the city of the same name, from the state of Rio Grande do Sul .

History
The club was founded on May 1, 1911 by a group of employees of a shoe factory. From 1942 to 1966 he performed under the name "Floriano" ( Esporte Clube Floriano ).
In 1984, the club played for the only time in its history in Serie B of Brazil , where it dropped out after the first round. In 2005, Novo Amburgo played in Serie C and took 4th place. The club is also famous for the fact that in 1969 the great Garincha played one match for him.
In 1996 and 2000, Novo Amburgo won the second division of the Rio Grande do Sul state championship . In 2017, Novo Amburgo for the first time in its history became the champion of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, breaking the 16-year hegemony of Internacional and Gremio .
Spends home games at the stadium "Du Val", accommodating 13 thousand spectators.
