About composition
"Autumn" entered the soundtrack to the television series " Ice Age ". For the promotion of the series and the album on ORT TV channel, a video clip was broadcast on prime time (director - A. Buravsky), mounted from the series, intermingled with Yuri Shevchuk, who walked around Petersburg and recorded the words on the recorder . The full version of the video was released in 2003, the director - Vasily Blednov, the director of photography - Sergey Blednov [1] .
"Autumn" was included in the concert album City Without Windows. Entrance and DVD "City without windows." It was also performed in the 2008 anti-war program “Don't Shoot!”.
Ratings
Reviewer Newslab in the review of the Solitude I described the song as “tender and heartfelt” and concluded that it returns hope to the listener after the heavy atmosphere of the album [2] . Dmitry Bebenin (Zvuki.ru) felt that the piercing tube in conjunction with the muted guitar and looped drums give the “Autumn” implicit internal tension [3] .
DDT guitarist Vadim Kurylev considers Autumn to be one of the most successful compositions of the album [4] .
