“Karfidov Lab” is a design bureau for engineering design and development of technological products and their prototypes. The company operates primarily in the areas of instrumentation, robotics, medicine and transport. In the course of the work, such things were developed and noted by the press as the torch body for the 2014 Winter Olympics, the virtual reality helmet, exoskeleton [1] , an apparatus for studying the effects of acid, an underwater “drone”, and a mobile electric generator [2] .

Company History
“Karfidov Lab” was formed in 2010 as an unofficial student movement at NUST “MISiS” . Since the founding of "Karfidov Lab" has been involved in the development of industrial and scientific projects of the institute, has twice won prizes at the CAD-OLYMP Olympiad.
In April 2014, the company "Karfidov Lab" was officially registered, in September 2015 - received the status of the collective use center "Skolkovo" [3] [4] . In March 2016, the company opened a separate representative office in Yekaterinburg. The main direction of the Ural office is the development and digitization of design documentation for ESKD [5] . In 2017, the annual turnover of Karfidov Lab amounted to 50 million rubles [6] . In 2018, the company opened a branch in St. Petersburg [6] and Gear corporation, a subsidiary in the United States.
Projects
Among the developments of “Karfidov Lab” is a test bench for printed circuit boards of “smart bracelets” [7] [8] , a coffee machine for a car [9] , and a case for a 3D printer for printing with reinforced plastics [10] [11] .
The company also participates in the creation of dual-use products, in particular, it carries out: the development of a cable connector for military equipment [12] , the design of the housing of the radar antenna unit for the fleet [13] [14] and the design of an industrial exoskeleton.
Engineers of Karfidov Lab optimized existing and developed new sports equipment for the obstacle course ANO "Race of Heroes" , collaborated with the company "Cognitive Technologies" in the project to develop an automatic truck [15] .
