Biography
The eldest son of Simon, Señor de Ré, Balanson and Disé, and Antoinette de Labe.
Senior de Ri. Coeval of Charles V, he was brought up with him as a barter , and later enjoyed the close friendship of the emperor.
He served as the first personal housekeeper of Charles V and general of the light cavalry.
Thanks to the patronage of the emperor, Joachin and his brothers Mark and Gerard married three sisters, called the ladies de Neuchatel , who were the heirs of the senior people of the contoured houses of Neuchatel and Longvi.
In 1546, at the chapter in Utrecht, he was knighted by the Order of the Golden Fleece .
