Biography
Born in a theatrical family, granddaughter of a famous Ukrainian actor and director Amvrosiy Maximilianovich Buchma [2] .
In 1962 she graduated from the Kiev National University of Theater, Film and Television named after IK Karpenko-Kary (faculty of theater studies, the course of I. A. Voloshyn), where she taught since 1968. In the years 1972-1974 - Dean of the Faculty of Drama. In 1985-1991 - Head of the Department of the organization of theatrical business, since 1991 - Professor of the Department of Theater Studies.
Candidate of Art Criticism (1983), Professor (1997).
Author of articles on the problems and history of the Russian theater; reviews, essays, reviews; methodological developments; radio cycle "Theatrical World of Ukraine"; TV shows about the dramatic art of Ivan Kochergi (1974), Lesia Ukrainka (1975). The author of the monograph "Ambrose Buchma" (1984).
Member of the National Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine.
Family
- Paternal grandmother - actress Valentina Yefimovna Brzeskaya (1896-1977), honored actress of the Ukrainian SSR.
- Paternal grandfather - mathematician George (Yuri) Nikolayevich Brzesky.
- Father - film director Igor Y. Brzesky (1917-1986), was adopted by the second husband of the mother actor and director Amvrosy Maximilianovich Buchma (1891-1957).
- Mother - Irina Zubova.
- Husband - A. S. Zabolotny , one of the founders of the Kiev Youth Theater .
