History
For the first time, the concept model of this helicopter was shown during the HeliRussia- 2008 international exhibition, which was held at Crocus Expo IEC . An interesting fact, during the exhibition it was renamed from Ka-100 to Ka-90.
Construction, take-off and landing of the Ka-90
The Ka-90 is the first helicopter in the world with such a concept. This is a completely new technical scheme.
Takeoff takes place in this way - the helicopter rises from the ground with the help of rigid and shortened propellers. It picks up speed of 400 km / h, then a turbojet dual-circuit engine is turned on, accelerating the apparatus to 700-800 km / h. Then the screws automatically fold into the case on the "back" of the helicopter.
When you need to land, the screws fold out again, the jet engine shuts off, and the car lands in normal mode.
