Erbsheim ( French Herbsheim ) is a commune in the north-east of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardennes - Lorraine ), department of the Lower Rhine , district of Celeste-Ersten , canton of Ersten [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Benfeld (Celeste-Ersten district).

Economics
In 2010, out of 606 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 462 were economically active , 144 inactive (activity indicator 76.2%, in 1999 - 74.4%). Of the 462 active able-bodied residents, 426 people worked (225 men and 201 women), 36 were unemployed (15 men and 21 women). Among 144 able-bodied inactive citizens, 43 were pupils or students , 67 were pensioners , and another 34 were inactive for other reasons [9] [10] .
