Biography
Born Mamed Mamedov on June 25, 1904 in the village of Karadagly, Shusha district.
In 1926 he graduated from the military school in the city of Ganja . In 1937 he graduated from the Higher Party School in Baku .
From 1926 to 1930 he served in the second regiment of the Azerbaijan division in the city of Ganja. Since 1942 in the Great Patriotic War . In war, the captain of the 223th tank division of the 4th Ukrainian Front. Demobilized in 1946 [1] .
From 1931 to 1932 the chairman of the Afatlinsky village council of the Agdam district, from 1932 to 1934 the chairman of the Uchoglansky village council of the Agdam district. After graduating from the Higher Party School in 1937, he was appointed Deputy Director of the MTS Terter District. From 1946 to 1972, he held various positions - chairman of the Mirbashirsky, Zhdanovsky and Aghdam regional executive committees, first secretary of the Zhdanovsky district committee of the party, director of the Natavan state farm, chairman of the collective farm named after 26 Baku commissars. In 1947, with its work, the over-fulfillment of the planned cotton harvest by 74.2% for the whole Zhdanovsky district provided.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 10, 1948, Mamedov Mamed Iskender oglu was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Sickle and Hammer gold medal [2] .
Since 1972 - chairman of the trade union of workers in the food industry and trade in the Agdam region.
In 1928 he joined the ranks of the CPSU (b). Delegate of the XV, XXII, XXIII and XXIV Party Congresses of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan.
He died in 1981 in the city of Agdam [3] .
