History
The club was founded in 2008, when it received the right to play in the Turkish First League Basketball (the second most important basketball tournament among men's club teams after the Turkish Basketball League ). At the end of the 2009/2010 season, BC “Trabzonspor” became the league champion and entered the Turkish Basketball League. After two seasons, the club flew into the first league. A year later, when he again won the first league in the 2012/2013 season, Trabzonspor again began to play in the Turkish Basketball League. He refused to participate in the top Turkish division of the 2018/19 season due to financial problems.
