Village history

The village of Verkhnyaya Boevka was founded at the beginning of the 19th century at the same time as the village Prikamestnoy (now Novoipatovo village), when assigned peasants were brought from the south of Central Russia for the construction of Sysertsky plants. Initially, landowners wanted to settle the peasants on the shore of Lake Boevsky, but some farmers did not like this place, and they voluntarily left to look for others. Those who remained founded the village of Pokamernaya, others (about ten families) went to the upper reaches of the Boevka river. Originally the village was called New. The first settlers of the village were the families of the Orlovs, Pyankovs, Oshkordins, Plotnikovs, Ladeyshchikov and others. In the village there were up to 300 yards. Families were large, each with at least 5 children, so the village soon grew. Now there are a little more than two hundred indigenous people and several summer residents [4] .

Infrastructure

A village club with a library, a medical assistant and a shop are working in the village.
