Biography
Since 1928 he worked as a shepherd at the sheep red state farm “Red Buruns” in the Kara-Nogai district of Dagestan. In 1935 he was appointed senior shepherd. After the outbreak of World War II, he was instructed to graze a state farm herd. During the war years, in spite of difficult conditions, annually reared without loss on average 100 foals per 100 mares. Thanks to his labor activity, the state farm fulfilled the plan for the supply of horses for the needs of the front.
In 1948 he raised 30 foals from 30 mares. In 1949, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor “for obtaining high livestock productivity in 1948 when the state farm fulfilled the plan of delivering livestock and field products to the state and fulfilling the state plan for the development of livestock for all types of livestock” [2] .
