Club career

Kvashner began his sports career in the football section of the Pomerania amateur club from the home town of Stralsund . At the age of 13 in 2007, he was accepted into the youth academy " Hansa ", which he played in various youth championships. In parallel with the game of football, he graduated from high school named after Heinrich Schütz in Rostock . At the end of the 2009/10 season in the Bundesliga U-19, Nils won the North / Northeast Division first, and then won the final match over the Bayer 04 youth team on June 27, 2010, becoming champions countries at his age.

April 4, 2012, Kwashner made his debut at a professional level: he appeared on the field in the 69th minute in the third round of the Third League in a match against the Babelsberg 03 club, replacing Ondřej Smetana [2] . In the next 14 matches of the Nils team, the decision of the head coach Mark Fasher appeared on the field 12 times, including 7 in the starting lineup for the position of the forward striker . During the winter break in the championship Kvashner suffered a knee injury and was out before the end of the 2012/13 season [3] .

On July 17, 2013, Nils was bought by the Salzburg -based Red Bull as a player of the rotation, [4] but Kvashner spent his first season in Austria at the Bull Bulls farm club , in the First Austrian League and in 27 games, managed to score 13 goals. For the core of Red Bull , Niels made his debut in the Austrian Bundesliga on June 26, 2014, in the away match against Wiener Neustadt , which ended with a score of 5: 0 in favor of the bulls [5] . After 3 days, Kvashner first played in the European Cup meeting on July 30, 2014 in the Champions League qualification against Karabakh , in which he appeared on the substitution in the 90th minute instead of Christoph Leitgeb [6] .

On January 12, 2015, a free transfer of Kvashner to RB Leipzig [7] was announced, but this transfer was blocked by FIFA , since taking into account Leadering , which had professional status, this would be the third change of team in one season for Nils, and the remaining half a year he was forced to spend again in Salzburg [8] . On June 5, 2015, the transfer was nevertheless formalized - at the same time as Kvashner, RB Leipzig acquired Peter Gulaci and Stefan Ilzanker from the Red Bull for free [9] .

For the 2015/16 season, Niels was noted for poor performance: in 19 matches played, he managed to score just one goal, while playing again in the forward position. This was the occasion for July 6, 2016 to lease Kvashner to Bochum , which spoke in the second Bundesliga [10] .

Career in the national team

In 2010–2011, Kwashner was repeatedly called up to the German U-17 team , including taking part in the European Championship , taking part in two matches - with the Netherlands [11] and Denmark [12] - and winning silver medals. Also in 2011, Nils was included in the team’s application for the World Cup in the relevant age category, held in Mexico , where he became a bronze medalist with the team, appearing on the field only once - in the group stage match against Panama [13] .
