Device, movement
Six tracks run along the platform: two for freight trains and four for passenger trains. There is an abutment path from the station to the Korpusny Post station of the “ northern port branch ”. In the industrial zone near the station are Avtovskaya CHPP and cargo station Narvskaya . Directly adjacent to the station is the junction of the Western High-Speed Diameter with Blagodatnaya Street , equipped with a toll station.
Earlier, some trains after Broneva went to Varshavsky railway station (via Korpusnoye Shosse ), but after its transformation into a shopping complex, all electric trains go to the Baltic Station , and long-distance passenger trains generally no longer pass through this station (transferred to Vitebsky Station ). In fact, the Bronevaya station is usually the first stop after the Baltiysky railway station (the penultimate in the opposite direction), since the trains that are adjacent to the station are short for the Elektrodepo service platform . After the transfer of suburban trains from Warsaw Station to the Baltic Station, the third platform serving the direction to Luga was dismantled.
The station has an underground pedestrian crossing, very uncomfortable for passengers - poorly lit, with low ceilings, flooded with water, slippery in winter [2] .
Next to the platform is the construction of the designed metro station of the same name [3] [4] . Currently, the nearest metro stations are Kirovsky Zavod , located west of the platform (1.8 km on foot), and Electrosila , located east of the platform (1.9 km on foot).
