Shagabutdinova Street (Alma-Ata)

The street is divided into 3 sections:

1. from Makatayev street and not reaching Tole bi avenue , where the street runs into a pedestrian arch. Crosses The street crosses the streets Zhibek Zholy , Gogol, Aiteke bi and Kazybek bi;
2. from Tole bi prospect to Abay prospect , crossing the streets of Bogenbai batyr, Karasai batyr, Kabanbai batyr , Zhambyl, Shevchenko and Kurmangazy.
3. after Abay, the street is interrupted and resumed from Satpayev Street, where a little higher is split into 2 one-way sections - Markova Street only down (north) and Shagabutdinov only up (south) to Bukhar Zhyrau Boulevard .

Above (to the south) of Bukhar Zhyrau Boulevard, the street has a continuation - the pedestrian Kasymov Street, which reaches the middle of the Koktem-1 microdistrict.

The street at many intersections has no traffic lights, and therefore unpopular for passages.

Kordonnaya Street is the historical name of a street in the town of Verny , derived from its destination - it connected the town of Verny with the gorge of the Trans-Ili Alatau , where the main cordon guarding the forest from unauthorized logging was located ^[1] .

With the advent of Soviet power, the street was named after Bagautdin Shagabutdinov (Shegabutdinov) - the commander of the Red Army , a participant in the struggle for the establishment of Soviet power in Turkestan , Semirechye .

Modern street Shagabutdinova was formed in the pre-war years and was built up with one-story residential buildings with homestead plots.

Along and near the street are located:

• Kazakh Engineering Finance and Banking Academy ;
• Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylai Khan ;
• Central Swimming Pool (now Rakhat Fitness);
• Central Stadium ;

Along the street transport does not go, for movement in the north-south direction it is worth using the nearby Baitursynov street. However, the street crosses 4 transport highways ( Gogol , Tole bi, Abay and Satpayev) at the intersection with which there is a lot of transport.
