Political parties that submitted lists of their members before March 1, 2016 could participate in the elections. There were 23 such parties [2] . The deadline for registering these political parties as election participants was August 5, 2016. By that date, 16 parties had passed the registration procedure. 12 of them participated in the elections independently, and the remaining 4 formed two electoral coalitions. Thus, 14 electoral lists were formed for the elections (18 electoral lists participated in the 2012 parliamentary elections ) [3] [4] . A draw was held on August 25, 2016, as a result of which numbers were assigned to the electoral lists [5]
