Story
The Great Patriotic War. The whole territory of Ukraine was under occupation.
Many residents of Ukrainian villages with the outbreak of war had to part with their measured rural life. Circumstances forced the family of Salyvon Chasnyk, his wife Pelageya and son Arkasha to hide from the invaders and, together with other collective farmers in the partisan detachment, confront the Germans. His grandfather Ostap protects his young son Arkasha from troubles. The grandson is eager for battle, but his parents are well aware that there is still enough war for him. And the most important thing he can do now is to be with his parents and help them in their difficult struggle with his love. Who, if not your own child, can make you go to certain death? ...
The earth burns under the feet of the invaders.
