Antipkin, Sergey Vladimirovich

Sergei Vladimirovich Antipkin (born March 28, 1986 , Moscow ) is a Russian volleyball player who ties St. Petersburg Zenit and the Russian team , an international class master of sports [1] .

Sports career

Sergei Antipkin began volleyball at the Moscow Olympus Education Center with coach Mikhail Konstantinovsky [2] . At the start of his career, he played for the capital's Dynamo-MGFSO-Olymp and Spartak teams in the Premier League B and the first league of the Russian Championship.

In 2008 he was invited to the New Urengoy Fakel and on November 16 made his debut in the Super League. Following the results of the Russian Championship 2008/09, Antipkin won bronze, but, being the youngest player of Fakel, received a bit of playing practice and accepted the offer to transfer to Grozny .

Together with Grozny, Sergei Antipkin for three years has gone from a major league B to a Super League. In the 2012/13 season , when the team of Arsen Kirilenko made his debut in the strongest division, Antipkin was its captain. In April 2013, he received a call to the Russian team . Commenting on his choice, the team’s head coach Andrei Voronkov noted Antipkin’s ability to play a quick game [3] , and in addition, in the 2012/13 season, Sergey was the best serveer of Grozny and the sixth most aces among all Super League players.

The first matches for the Russian national team, Sergei Antipkin spent June 7 and 8, 2013, as part of the World League in Kaliningrad against the Iranians [4] , after which he was sent to the student team led by Sergei Shlyapnikov . In July, she became the champion of the Universiade in Kazan .

In the same 2013, Sergei Antipkin moved to Gazprom-Ugra and for two seasons was the main liaison of the Surgut team, which achieved the highest achievement in the 2014/15 season, becoming the fourth in the Russian championship . In June - July 2015, Sergey spent eight matches for the national team in the World League .

In the 2015/16 season, he played for Belogorye [5] , with whom he won the bronze of the Russian Championship , then moved to Dynamo Moscow [6] and won the silver of the Russian championship with the new team. In June 2017, he again played for the national team in matches in the World League .

In July 2018, he signed a contract with St. Petersburg Zenit [7] .
