Childhood and youth passed in Tomsk , a gymnasium student took part in amateur performances, played the characteristic roles of old women. [2]

She graduated from the Mariinsky Gymnasium in Tomsk.

She performed on the amateur stage. At the end of the drama courses at the Moscow Theater School (class A.P. Lensky ) since 1901 at the Maly Theater . In the cinema since 1918.

She was buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow (2nd section, 25th row, 17th place), next to the film director Y. A. Protazanov , who shot the film "Aelita" with her participation.
