In 2009, Rodriguez began his career at the Santos de Guapiles Club. On August 16, in a match against Universidad Costa Rica , he made his debut in the Costa Rica championship . In early 2012, Ariel moved to Puntarenas . On January 15, in a match against Saprissa, he made his debut for a new team [3] . Rodriguez scored his first goal for Puntarenas in the same match.
