In 1875 he graduated from the Stroganov School , in 1881 - the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture with the title of title cool artist of architecture. From 1882 to July 1900 - architect of the Moscow Pokrovsky community. At the same time he worked in the St. Petersburg insurance company. In 1894 he was appointed as a local architect, in 1898 - as an architect of the Moscow Trustee of the Poor Committee, in 1908 - as an architect of special assignments under the Moscow City Credit Society.
