Biography
Born in the village of Misino in the Rivne volost of the Kholm district of the Pskov province of Russia in a peasant family. Until the age of 15, he lived with his parents, at the end of school he worked as a coachman with a landowner, a worker in a forest warehouse. In the years 1915-1916. He worked as a turner student at the Novy Lessner plant in Petrograd . In the years 1916-1918. He worked as a press worker at a cartridge factory. In July 1918 he moved to the Tyumen region . Forging documents, escaped mobilization in the White Army . In 1920 , he went to serve in the Red Army in the Tyumen guard battalion. In this position, he was promoted to chief of communications of the battalion .
Since 1921 he went to serve in the Cheka - GPU. He worked in the Tyumen , and later in the Samara province . In 1925 he studied at the Higher Border School of the OGPU of the USSR. He continued his service in the Volga region, in 1935 he became a lieutenant of state security , was transferred to the Leningrad region . Since February 7, 1938 - the chairman of the regional NKVD in Vinnitsa, rose to the rank of major of state security . He was involved in the repression in the city and region .
On June 26, 1938 he was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the 1st convocation from the Monastery of the constituency of the Vinnitsa region.
He was charged with unjustified repression and falsification of investigative documents. After removal from office on January 14, 1939 , he made an attempt to commit suicide . As a result of two shots he was seriously injured. After recovery, he was sentenced under capital punishment under article 206-17 "b" of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, but later received 10 years in prison.
