South-West Forest Park is a forest park in the south-west of Moscow , located on the territory of the Troparyovo-Nikulino and Obruchevsky municipal districts, 600 meters from the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station and 1300 meters from the Belyaevo metro station. Divided by Leninsky Avenue into two territories.

Description
In the southeastern territory of the park there is the Pond Comma, in the north-western territory there is a section of the valley of the Samorodinka River from Leninsky Prospect to Prospect Vernadsky . Since 1991, the valley of the River Natively is a natural monument [1] .
Flora and fauna
According to the memoirs of the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, S. M. Suslov, most of the forest, consisting of oak trees , lime trees , elms before the outbreak of hostilities, was cut down and put into defensive installations . In their place began to grow birch shoots, now prevailing in the forest park. In the northern part, closer to Nugget , are post-war plantings of pine in rows. Downstream, in the corner of two ravines, are much younger plantings of lindens . Along the perimeter of the park there are young oaks [2] . In general, the flora of the forest park has more than 120 species . Among forest plants there is a hairy sedge , greenfinch , lungwort, obscure , four-leafed crow , European gingerbread and others. Of the species especially protected in Moscow, is the May lily of the valley and the European bath . About 35 species of terrestrial vertebrate animals inhabit the forest, including shrews , voles , squirrels . Of the nesting birds, it is possible to name the thrush of the mountain ash , mock sack , oriole , nightingale , warbler , Slav and others [1] .
Memorial Stone
To the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War , a memorial stone was installed in the park at one of the entrances. Here in 1941 was the position of the anti-aircraft battery that defended the sky of Moscow [3] . Three positions of anti-aircraft guns remained from the war in the whole park [2] .
