Chkalov is a rural settlement on the territory of the Tit-Arinsky settlement of the Khangalassky ulus of Yakutia . Located on the island of Tiit-Ary in the middle of the Lena , 113 km south-west of the ulus center of Pokrovsk , the distance to the center is from Tit Ara is 3 km away. The population is 0.3 thousand people. (1989). According to the local administration, as of 01.01.2001, 280 people lived here. In the village - the production site of the collective farm “Tiit-Aryy”, the main production - dairy cattle breeding, meat herd horse breeding.
