The Yudinovsky Museum Complex is a museum complex in the village of Yudinovo in the Pogarsky District of the Bryansk Region .

The Yudinov Upper Paleolithic site became known to the whole world in 1947 , thanks to the publications of its discoverer Polikarpovich Konstantin Mikhailovich . Wide interest in it began in 1985 , when a pavilion was built over one of the excavations carried out under the direction of Zoia A. Abramova, doctor of historical sciences. The opportunity at any time to observe the culture of ancient people hidden by millennia now attracts here not only specialists, scientists, but also the general public who want to look into the world of 15 thousand years ago.
In 1989, the Soviet-American Paleolithic Symposium was held on the basis of this museum. Representatives of nine US universities , along with scientists from the USSR and Great Britain, discussed the problems of studying ancient times. The museum has become a participant in international conferences, scientists from France, Belgium, Canada, and neighboring countries come here. Now it’s hard to name a country whose representatives have not visited the Yudinov Museum-Reserve “Paleolithic”.

Museum of Local Lore
The Museum of Local Lore in Yudinovo was created simultaneously with the search for the remains of the bone dwellings of Cro-Magnons, opened to visitors in 1985 . A distinctive feature of this museum is that it is exclusively amateur. The layout of the exhibition halls (and there are six of them), the creation of expositions and all design elements were carried out without the involvement of specialists by the students of the local school under the guidance of a former history teacher Leonid Ivanovich Grishin. This distinguishes the museum from many others executed by decorators.
Each museum hall is thematic: archeology , ethnography , village history, the Great Patriotic War , the post-war period, yesterday’s technology hall. Visitors to this museum are impressed by the simple simplicity of design and the emotionality of excursion material. The museum has a rich collection of numismatics, philately, watches. The subjects of ethnography served as the basis for creating the exposition “peasant hut”, which in detail recreates peasant life in the past.

The works of famous sculptors, graphic artists and painters of the Russian Federation are exhibited on an area of 400 m².
