Nikolai Aleksandrovich Ponomarev ( October 10, 1929 , Kustanay - October 17, 1995) - Kazakh communist leader, organizer of agricultural production, first secretary of the Komsomol district committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, Kustanai region, Kazakh SSR. Hero of Socialist Labor (1971). Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan. Member of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR.

Biography
In 1955 he joined the Communist Party. From 1951 to 1963, he was an agronomist at the Fedorovsky, Kenaral, and Vladimirovsky state farms. From 1963 to 1971 - Head of the Department of Agriculture of the Kustanai Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan, First Secretary of the Komsomol District Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan. As the first secretary of the Komsomol district committee, he participated in the organization of agricultural production in the region. In 1971 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.
Since 1971 - Chairman of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Kustanai Regional Council of People's Deputies. Since 1971 - candidate for membership in the Central Committee of the CPSU, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan.
He was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR of the 7th convocation [ specify ] .
Awards and titles
- Hero of Socialist Labor (04/08/1971) - by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR “On awarding the title of Hero of Socialist Labor to the Agricultural Workers of the Kazakh SSR” of April 8, 1971 for outstanding achievements in the development of agricultural production and the implementation of the five-year plan for the sale of agricultural products to the state and livestock was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle " [1] .
