Biography
Some researchers, including Father Anselme , believe that she, like her brothers, was the daughter of Bernard IV , Count d'Armagnac.
Some researchers believe that she died in 1245, before her brother Bernard V , but in this case she could pass both counties by inheritance to her descendants, but she could not bear these titles herself. True, other researchers claim that Count Bernard V died before his sister, in 1243.
Her husband, Arnaud III Odon, took the title of "substitute count in Armagnac and Fezensac" ( Fr. tenant lieu de comte en Fezensac et en Armagnac ), who retained their daughter, Maskarose II , during their early childhood.
Arnaud III Odon had to endure a hard war with the inhabitants of Osh (1247), who did not want to recognize the power of the “foreign” prince, and then with Jero d'Armagnac , Viscount de Fezansagé (1249). The reason for this war is not entirely clear, since it was too late for Jero to demand a review of the inheritance.
