Marie Lohr ( born Marie Lohr ; July 28, 1890 - January 21, 1975) is an Australian - British theater and film actress [4] .

Biography
Marie Laure was born in Sydney , New South Wales , in the family of the director of the Melbourne Opera House, Lewis Jay Laura and his wife, English actress Keith Bishop (1848-1923) [5] . Her maternal uncle, Alfred Bishop, and godmother William and Mej Kendal , - also were actors [6] .
Career
She made her debut in the Sydney Theater at the age of four, directed by The World Against Her . Her debut in London took place at the age of 11 (after she and her family moved to the UK ), in productions of Stёpka-Shabby and The Man Who Stole the Castle [7] . A late career in the theater included the appearance in 1929 in the London production of Beau Geste , along with Laurence Olivier , who later married Vivien Leigh , and in the 1930 performance The Bread-Winner .
Marie first appeared in the movie in 1932 in the film Aren't we All? . She starred in two adaptations of the works of Bernard Shaw [8] . She died in 1975 at the age of 84 years. She was buried at Brompton Cemetery , in West London .
