Henry Yanovich Ansip ( Est. Heinrich Ansip ; August 26 (September 9) 1909, Tabivere , Derpt Uyezd , Livonia Province - November 21, 1941) - Soviet political figure, deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the 1st convocation.

Biography
Before the establishment of Soviet power in Estonia, he worked as a railway worker in Tallinn.
As a result of the elections of January 12, 1941, he was elected to the Council of Nationalities of the 1st convocation of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR from the Harju eastern constituency of the Estonian SSR.
In July 1941 he was appointed commissar of the Tallinn Railway Fighter Battalion [1] . During the Nazi occupation, he remained in Estonia, was captured by the Germans and hanged on November 21, 1941.
Family
Parents - Jaan Ansip and Leena Ansip (Ets). In addition to Henry, the family had two brothers and two sisters. The twin brother Rudolph (1909-1942, died at the front). Another brother, Oswald (1901-1974), worked as chairman of a collective farm, was elected as a deputy of the USSR Supreme Council of the 3rd convocation.

Some sources report that Henry Ansip is a relative of the Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip [2] , but there is no serious evidence of this information.
