Rakhimzhan Abylkasymovich Kabashev (November 17, 1939) - academician, doctor of technical sciences, professor, rector of KazADI named after L. B. Goncharova , the largest university in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of automobile and road facilities.

Born in with. Volodarskoe (Saumakol) of the Kokchetav region, Kazakhstan.

He worked as a mechanic, mechanic. In 1963 he graduated from Tomsk State Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering, a mechanical engineer.

In 1965 he entered the graduate school of MADI, which he graduated in 1968 with the defense of a candidate dissertation. He worked as the head of a group of designers, participated in the development and implementation of self-propelled equipment in the mines of the Zhezkazgan Mining and Metallurgical Combine named after K.I.Satpayev.

He taught at KazNTU named after K. Satpayev (1969-1980), KazGASA (1980-1990), AADI (1990-1996), KazATK (from 1996 to the present).

Associate Professor, Dean of the Higher School of Engineering (ENIT) of the Republic of Tunisia.

Co-author of more than 300 scientific papers, including 14 monographs, textbooks and textbooks for universities, which are widely used in the educational process for the training of engineers in the specialties of “Hoisting-and-transport, construction and road machines”, “Mechanization and automation of construction”. Most of the scientific work is devoted to problems in the field of mechanical engineering, which are part of the targeted comprehensive scientific and technical programs "New construction and road machines."

Co-author of 25 inventions.
