History
The beginning of music education in Krivoy Rog was laid in the second half of the 1920s with the organization of a private piano studio. In 1932, the studio moved to the department of the art workers union. In April 1936, the first in the city children's music school of the public education department of the Kryvyi Rih City Executive Committee was opened on the basis of the music studio.
In 1944, after the liberation of the city from the invaders, the music school resumed its work, branches were opened at the mines to them. F. E. Dzerzhinsky , them. Kirova them. Karl Liebknecht and October.
In 1954-1956, thanks to the enthusiasm of Nikolai Romasenko , a three-story House of Music was built by order of the Minister of Ferrous Metallurgy of the USSR Ivan Tevosyan and with the support of the city government - the new building of a children's music school, which had previously been in a wooden structure. The construction was helped by M. M. Zhukov, chief engineer of the Krivbassproekt Institute, on the initiative of which a letter was written to the Minister of Ferrous Metallurgy Ivan Tevosyan, signed by Alexei Semivolos from the Ilyich Mining Administration, D. Tovstanvsky from the Dzerzhinskrud trust, Alexei Podlepoy from Krivbassrudstroy ", Y. Nefyodov from the plant" Communist "and others. Special assistance and direct participation in the construction took Viktor Stepanovich Oleinikov .
As a school, it was founded in 1959, as a branch of the Dnepropetrovsk Music College [1] , on the initiative of Nikolai Romasenko, the future first director until 1970. Since 1961 [2] an independent educational institution Kryvyi Rih State Musical College, since 2005 it has a modern name.
Since 1992, the school initiated the international competition of accordionists and accordionists "Krivbass Cup", the all-Ukrainian piano competition, since 2007 - ensembles and concerts.
Arranges city festivals and competitions: since 1974 - The Magic Flute, since 1976 - The Young Violinist, The Young Virtuoso, since 1981 - The Singing Spring, since 1989 - Jazz and Youth, since 1990 - Ukraine mine ", since 2000 -" Nightingale ". In 2011, together with the National Music Academy of Ukraine, the R. Glier Institute of Music, the Odessa Academy of Music, the Mozart Festival was founded, in 2012-2013 - S. Rachmaninov, in 2012 together with the St. Petersburg Conservatory - the "Genius of the Place" festival.
