In 1946 he graduated from the school of factory training with a degree in electrician and in 1949 - from an agricultural school.
Since 1956, he was a slaughterer, foreman of the integrated brigade of mine No. 44 of the Southern mine of the Dzhezkazgan mining and metallurgical plant.
The Abukair Kusainov brigade fulfilled the socialist obligations of the 7th five-year plan in 4 years and three months. In 1966 he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor for outstanding labor achievements.
He was buried in Satpayev.
