Biography
Born in Amsterdam , province of North Holland . He trained at the base of the club "Laga" in Delft. His main occupation was rowing, where he reached considerable heights, becoming the owner of an Olympic medal of the highest standard. He died on June 5, 1976 at the age of 75 in Amsterdam [1] .
Career
Roesing's first participation in the international arena took place during the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris. He was called up to the academic team of the Netherlands and declared in the doubles doubles. Together with his partner Anthony Beynen, he performed in the category of two pair. With a result of 8: 19.4, the Dutch pair of rowers took first place in the final race, ahead of rivals from France (8: 21.6 - 2nd place) [2] .
