Chimenea ( Spanish: chimenea ; lit. chimney , chimney ) - is a Latin American version of the portable tandoor , which came to America from Spain during the Arab-Berber rule. It has the shape of a bulb with a side hood and a vertical pipe. Traditionally made from baked clay, it is now widely used as a decorative ceramic attribute of verandas and patios , especially in the southwestern United States. Charcoal is also used in metal and cast iron models [1] . When using ethanol that does not emit smoke during combustion, it is possible to bring it inside the premises. Used to decorate and heat the patio. It is convenient where it is dangerous, inconvenient or illegal to make a normal fire (especially in cities). When inserting, grills can be used for cooking meat, vegetables and pizza. To scare away blood-sucking insects in the chimeneys, they plant wood of local conifers.
