Among the co-authors of the album’s songs are such musicians as Ed Sheeran , Guy Chambers, Rufus Wainwright , John Grant, The Killers , Stuart Price ^[8] .

About the album

Performance at the Apple Music Festival , London. 2016 year

The first reports of the planned release of the first new studio album from 2013 appeared in May 2016 ^[9] . The new disc will be the 11th studio, or 19th, taking into account collections and live concert recordings. The release of the album was first announced on September 25, 2016, and on the same day the title track of the same name “The Heavy Entertainment Show” was released through the iTunes Store ^[10] . The first official album single, “ Party Like a Russian ”, was released on September 30, 2016 and used the music of Sergei Prokofiev's “Dance of the Knights” from the ballet Romeo and Juliet (1935). A new single and video clip of the glamorous life of the Russian oligarch ^{[11] is} dedicated.

Commercial Success

The album debuted at No. 1 position in the UK with a print run of 67,000 copies in its first week ^[12] . This is Williams' 12th charttopper in the British Official Albums Chart (including 10 studio and 2 compilations). More among the soloists only Elvis Presley (13) ^[13] . Also among the leaders in this indicator are Beatles (15), Madonna (12), David Bowie (11), Rolling Stones (10), Michael Jackson (10), Bruce Springsteen (10), U2 (10), ABBA (9), Queen (9) ^[14] .
