Biography

Since childhood, Kristel has been engaged in cross-country skiing and only at 18 years old moved to biathlon . Speaking among juniors, she was able to become the bronze medalist of the World Cup. In 1996, Gro managed to qualify for the main national team of his country, and a year later to take part in the adult world championship . In 1997, Christelle Gros became the champion of France. The Nagano Olympics were unsuccessful for the athlete. Nevertheless, in general, the 1997/1998 Olympic season was quite successful for Kristel: she manages to win the relay race of the World Cup stage as part of the French team and climb the podium of the sprint race . In the future, Kristel Gro performed smoothly and did not show high results. Because of this, she had to skip the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City . The most successful in the career of Gro can be called the 2003/2004 season , according to the results of which she took eighteenth place in the overall standings of the World Cup .

She took part in ski orienteering competitions in the framework of the 2010 Winter World Military Sports Games , where she won in both disciplines - individual and team.
