Biography
Born in the family of a priest.
In 1912 he graduated from the Olonets Theological Seminary in the first category, the second in the list.
In 1916 he graduated from the historical department of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy . Along with his studies at the Academy, he attended a lecture course at the St. Petersburg Archaeological Institute , taught geography at schools in St. Petersburg.
In the years 1916-1918, during the First World War, he served as a gunner in the artillery unit.
Since 1918 - a teacher in rural schools of the Olonets province , head of a factory school in Kondopoga , director of a secondary school in Kondopoga.
During the Great Patriotic War, in evacuation, he worked in schools in the Sverdlovsk region.
In 1944-1956 - teacher, head teacher, director of Kondopoga Secondary School No. 1.
After retiring in 1956, he was involved in organizing the creation of the Kondopoga Museum of Local Lore, and collected significant local history material.
Memory
In 1984, one of the streets of the city of Kondopoga was named after Shezhemsky.
