Description
The buildings of Berjaya Times Square are multifunctional: they have apartments, a hotel with 1200 rooms [1] [2] , a large shopping center (about 1000 outlets and 65 fast-food enterprises), an indoor amusement park , and a cinema .
Berjaya Times Square is accessible from the Monorail Station, with which the complex is connected by a pedestrian bridge .

History
Historically, the land on which the Berjaya Times Square buildings stand was owned by philanthropist Cheong Yoke Choy (1873-1958). Later this place was acquired by .
The complex was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, in October 2003 a few days before his retirement by age (at that time he was almost 78 years old). In April 2005, the store opened here - at that time their largest in the world. However, due to the crisis , in 2010 the size of this store was significantly reduced, and in 2016 it was completely closed.
