Zhanybai Igibaev (born 1936 , the village of Daukara ) - foreman of the miners of the mine face of the Mikhailovskaya mine of the Karagandaugol production association, Kazakh SSR. Hero of Socialist Labor (1981). Member of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR. Full holder of the Badge “Mining Glory” .

Biography
Born in 1936 into a peasant family in the village of Daukara. After graduating from a seven-year school, he entered the Kokchetav Pedagogical College. In 1953 he moved to Karaganda to his relative, where he got a job as a loader in a forest warehouse at mine No. 37 of the Karagandaugol combine. Then he worked as an assistant combine harvester combine at mine No. 64/83 (later this mine became part of the Mikhailovskaya mine). After graduating from production of the training plant, he worked as a driver on site No. 1 at the Donbass wide-cut mining combine, then he mastered the K-52M narrow-capture combine. Later he was appointed foreman of the face miners, who was entrusted with the development and implementation of new coal mining equipment - mechanized complexes KM-100, KM-81, KM-130.
He studied best practices in the mines of Donbass. During the years of the 10th five-year plan, site No. 1, on which the team of Zhanybai Igibaev worked, processed the Upper Marianna coal seam. In 1973, the team became a member of the All-Union mining competition for the extraction of a million tons of coal. This year, during 31 working days, the Zhanybai Igibaev team, with daily production of an average of 3710 tons, produced 177023 tons. For this labor feat he was awarded the Order of Lenin. In 1981 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor “ for outstanding production achievements, early fulfillment of the tasks of the tenth five-year plan and socialist obligations, and manifested labor valor ” [1] .
He was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR of the 11th convocation and a member of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR.
In 1986, retired.
