Romuald Kropat ( Polish. Romuald Kropat ; March 9, 1927 , Pruzhany Polish Republic (1918-1939) (now the Brest region of Belarus ) - July 6, 2008 , Lodz , Poland ) - Polish cameraman and photographer, teacher. Winner of the State Prize of Poland (1955).

Biography
In 1943-1945 he worked as a photolab at the USSR, after the war he moved to Poland. He studied at the Graduate School of Natural History (WSSP) in Gdansk .
A graduate of the first issue of the Higher State School of Cinema, Television and Television. Leona Schiller in Lodz (1950). He worked with well-known directors Andrzej Munk (“The Man on the Rails ”) and Konrad Naletsky (TV series “ Four Tankmen and a Dog ”).
Since 1960, he was a member of the Union of Polish Photographic Artists (ZPAF).
For many years he worked as a teacher of the Department of Cinematography at the Lodz Film School, from 1978 he also taught photography.
Prepared many famous cameramen and photographers.
Winner of a number of awards in the field of film and photography. In 1960-1970, he participated in many exhibitions in the country and abroad.
He died leaving a rich collection of photos and negatives.
