George Coleman Eads III ( born George Coleman Eads III , born March 1, 1967 , Fort Worth ) is an American television actor. Best known for her role as Nicholas Stokes in the CBS police drama CSI: Crime Scene .

Biography
Early life and education
The Eads was born in Fort Worth , but grew up in Belton , Texas . His father was Arthur Coleman "Cappie" Eads, a retired district attorney; he died on November 1, 2011. His mother's name is Vivian Baker (nee Athens). Eads has an older sister, Angela Eads Tekell, a lawyer in Waco , Texas. His stepfather is Dudley Baker, a gynecologist. George graduated from Belton High School in 1985, and in 1989 received a marketing degree from Texas Tech . In college, he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. [2] Prior to his acting career, Eads worked as a sales agent for copy machines and also sold first aid kits.
Career
To begin his acting career, the Eeds moved to Los Angeles , California in a borrowed pick-up truck from his stepfather. In the city, he could ride only during the day, as the pickup headlights were broken. A breakthrough in Eads' career was his participation in the daily soap opera Savannah . And although his hero died in the very first series, the Eads managed to become so popular that the producers left him on the show - his hero Travis Peterson appeared in flashbacks, and eventually returned him to the series as Travis’s identical twin brother, Nick Corelli [ 3] .
During the Savannah era, Eads appeared in a guest role in Ambulance , and also starred in several television films, including The Queen's Death, with Yasmine Blythe (1997).
In 2000, Eads got one of the leading roles in the CBS police drama “ CSI: Crime Scene, ” where he played the role of forensic expert Nick Stokes for 15 years. In parallel with CSI, Eads also starred in television films such as Monty Walsh (2003) and Yvel Level (2004).
In August 2014, even before the premiere of the 14th season of “CSI: Crime Scene”, Eads became aware of the negotiations about the possibility of his leaving the show due to a conflict due to creative differences with the scriptwriter of the series [4] . On November 25 of that year, he officially announced his departure from the show after the completion of the 15th season [5] . CSI: Crime Scene has not been extended for season 16.
In 2016, Eads began acting as Jack Dalton in the television series McGyver .
Personal life
In 2011-2015, Eads was married to Monica Casey [6] . In 2014, they had a baby [7] .
