The 7th edition of the Montreal Grand Prix, a one-day road bike race on the roads of the Canadian city ​​of Montreal, was held on September 11, 2016 as part of the UCI World Tour 2016 . The victory was pulled out by the Belgian Greg Van Avermat from the American BMC Racing Team .

Route

The distance consisted of 17 laps 12.1 km long each and went along the same path as the 2011 race . The route that ran around the main campus of the University of Montreal included three premium lifts on which the mountain classification of the race was played. It was well suited for miners and punchers , as the finish of the race coincided with the top of the last climb with an average gradient of 4%. 500 meters from the finish line made a sharp right turn 180 degrees.
