Bolkovo ( Belor. Bolkava ) is a village in the Myadel district of the Minsk region . It is part of the Svirsky Village Council . The population of 72 people (2009) [1] .

Geography
Bolkovo is located 3 km northeast of the village of Svir and 5 km east of the border with the Grodno region . The Lyntupy - Zanaroch highway passes through the village , other roads lead to Svir and the surrounding villages. The area belongs to the Neman basin, a stream flows through Bolkovo, which flows into Lake Svir . The northern tip of Lake Svir is located a kilometer southwest of Bolkovo.
History
In the XIX century, Bolkovo was a village in the Sventsyansky district of the Vilnius province , belonged to the landowners Bychevsky, who built a partially preserved noble estate. In 1904, the village numbered 41 inhabitants [2] . The Bichevskys built a distillery in Bolkovo, which also functioned in Soviet times, and after that was converted into a plant of fodder yeast.
As a result of the Riga Peace Treaty of 1921, Bolkovo became part of interwar Poland , where it was part of the Vilnius Voivodeship . Since 1939 in the BSSR [2] .

Attractions
- Manor Bychevsky. The manor house has not been preserved, among the surviving manor buildings - the house of the manager, distillery, stable and several outbuildings.
