Arbatetskaya street (name from the 17th century [1] ) is a dead-end street on the border of Tagansky (even side) and Danilovsky districts of Moscow . It starts from Simonovsky Val at the Alyoshinsky barracks . The plans of the 1930s extended from the now abolished Novodubrovskaya Street to Krutitskaya Embankment . Subsequently, the exit to the embankment (along the Embankment Chambers of the Krutitsky Compound ) was built up with garages, and the street turned into a dead end.

Name Origin
It was named in the XVIII century by the name of the village (settlement) Arbatets, which was the property of Krutitsky Compound [2] [3] .
History
The history of Arbatetskaya street is closely connected with the history of Krutitsky compound. With the liquidation of the courtyard in the 18th century, its lands were transferred to the War Department, the northern side of the street was built up with barracks and military depots. The street in its present form was formed after the fire of 1812 . And today there is a row of four wooden one-story houses of the 19th century occupied by military households.
To the south of Arbatetskaya street there was a network of lanes: 1st and 2nd Arbatetskiy lanes, Blinin lane, Podonny lane. These lanes were eliminated during the construction of typical residential buildings in the 1960s and 1970s. and the expansion of Simonovsky Val. Then Novodubrovskaya street and Svirskaya parallel to it disappeared, and Krutitsky Val became an intra-quarter passage.
On the evening of June 10, 2011, a fire occurred in one of the wooden houses of the street, as a result of which the house burned out almost completely [4] .
