Gor Tigranovich Minasyan ( armenian Գոռ Մինասյան ; born October 25, 1994 , Gyumri , Armenia ) is an Armenian weightlifter in the weight category over 105 kg. Silver medalist of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , medalist of the World and European Championships.

Biography
Gor Minasyan was born on October 25, 1994 in Gyumri. As a child, he was engaged in wrestling, boxing. With 10 years of weightlifting [1] .
At the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games, Minasyan won a silver medal in the weight category over 85 kg .
May 10, 2013 Gor Minasyan was disqualified for 2 years after the athlete's doping test gave a positive result for nandrolone [2] .
At the beginning of November 2018, at the World Championships in Ashgabat , an Armenian athlete, in the weight category over 109 kg, won the silver medal of the world championship, managing to take a total weight of 450 kg. Performing an exercise push Gore showed a second result with a barbell weight of 245 kg. In the snatch he became the second with a weight of 205 kg.
At the pre-Olympic World Cup 2019 , which was held in Thailand, the Armenian athlete won a silver medal in the weight category over 109 kg. The total weight on the bar is 460 kg. In the exercise, he became the second jerk (212 kg), in the shot put he became the owner of a small silver medal (248 kg).
