World champion (1961), five-time champion of the USSR (1958-1965), repeated champion of the RSFSR (1958-1961) in fencing. Master of Sports of the USSR (1957). Honored Master of Sports of the Russian Federation (2004).
Coaching career
Graduated from Voronezh State Pedagogical Institute (1965).
In coaching since 1965 (Moscow, Voronezh). Honored Trainer of the RSFSR (1975).
Teaching
Deputy Director (since 1992), Vice-Rector for Sports (since 2006), Voronezh State Institute of Physical Culture . Associate Professor (2001).
Community Activities
Vice President of the Regional Olympic Academy (since 2001). Chairman of the Regional Fencing Federation (1981-2006). Member of the Executive Committee of the Fencing Federation of the Russian Federation (since 2000). Since 2006, chairman of the district (Central Federal District) branch of the Russian Student Sports Union (RCCS).
Refereeing career
