Los Angeles Kings 2016/2017

The season 2016/2017 was the 50th in the history of the Los Angeles Kings club. The team began the season on October 12 with an away match in San Jose , against the local Sharks . The Kings completed the regular season on April 9, 2017, visiting Anaheim Ducks . Before the 2016/17 season, Angers Kopitar was appointed the new captain of the club, thus becoming the first Slovenian in history, captain of the NHL team. [one]
